I just came across this discussion list and would like to introduce
myself. I was struck by the profundity of "LEARNING TO DO". This has been
my main preoccupation. We implore managers to manage their organisations
as systems, but do we say enough about what to do?

Is the fact of appreciating a systems interdependence enough to enable
managers to know what to do?

I have to spend some time reviewing the list's archive. I am very
interested in what people have to say.

I should like to provoke some thoughts, but first I must read. So as A.S.
would say.. "I'll be back"
