Why we work LO22551

I need help with locating data (usually found within the AMA, SHRM, and/or
ASTD web-sites but no longer available) that ranks the motivating reasons
why we come to work. Traditional paradigm would say money is at the top,
however results from recent surveys clearly denote appreciation,
contribution, and continuous learning are at the top of the list.

My intent for this request is based on the need for objective data. This
data will help to prepare a presentation to our leadership team related to
increasing performance and employee motivation.

Please respond if you have seen or know how to find a study on the "top
ten" reasons why we work.
